More than 1 hour after the power is back on and still a blue flashing light on the CPE. Fun times.
Same, but 53 mins after power came onMore than 1 hour after the power is back on and still a blue flashing light on the CPE. Fun times.
@Bighit - I am in Durbanville area, close to Tyger Valley. My router and fibre cpe are on UPS so it never goes down - to miss that infamous dhcp storm and to be able to use it for work from the laptop. Tonight the internets stopped working just before 21:00 - incidentally just before the electricity reappeared. It came back about 20 minutes ago.
So no power cycling of any equipment on my end, but something obviously went very wrong on the other end of the fibre.
No disconnects here just mostly dead local/international.Getting slight disconnects every now and then on the MFN network. is anyone experiencing this ?

That's in regards to Octotel by the way.
Sorry guys I meant to bring you into this last night but I usually don't make a habbit of staying up until 1am reading mybb so it slipped my mind. The conversation was interesting through.
What I dont understand is this:
Power went out from 12 till 2 this afternoon (same volume and areas as 8 till 10 tonight)
Internet was up like 5 minutes later.
Now tonight's 8 till 10... power came back early...
No internet after 30 minutes...
Surely it should be the same volume of people trying to reconnect?
You lucky to have internet, over here still dead in the water with a blue flashing power light on the CPE.My Twitch is a bit patchy tonight. Streams taking long to load and buffering like a mofo on 1080p. It's very inconsistent. International access does seem slow overall...mmmm
Openserve 100/50mb line.
