#COOL-20170831-33690 - was promised a reply on friday, then promised a reply on monday, then promised a reply yesterday.

Still no updates.

This has been going on for weeks now.
I will checkup on this for you, but it's with the operator and they are investigating. This kind of thing takes time with them unfortunately.

I appreciate your input, but you're wrong- I've tried different dns services (including CISPs default dns, google dns and then other private dns') on my CISP connection and all of them fail. I can access Hulu using my cellphone; thus it must be linked to my line. Maybe my ip is being blocked. PBCool, I've sent you my info via PM.
Yeah I got it, please PM me a trace to Hulu.com

@PBCool Just want to know if you were able to escalate my request to get installed? I sent my details via pm yesterday
Hi There, I will check but our fibrehoods guy has emailed all the escalation requests when I checked yesterday. All the requests we got were basically "area not live" but will double check your request.

A simple, no update yet, will update tomorrow ... Then no update yet, will update tomorrow etc will make one believe they are actually working on it and not just ignoring it till I give up....

:( There's people that have had their fibre installed and it's working in my area so something's lost in translation...

Area not live can mean block not live basically, so even though the area is in the process of going live your particular portion isn't as yet.

Horrible horrible speeds again tonight. Speedtest to london is about 1 Mbps. Wanted to stream the soccer as Supersort isnt showing it but I can barely open a website let alone stream.

Would still be the operator unfortunately, we are putting as much pressure as possible.

This isn't over wireless obviously as well?

Most of the issues are limited to the line provider/operator and packet loss, not the network side to be honest.

I hope you right... esp I'm a huge football fan..
I will not be able to watch while buffering and or not streaming at all.

I'm cancelling dstv for this.

Vumatel is almost done with fibre in my area, grey box is also fitted against wall on house. Octotel has also been busy but they stopped once Vumatel came in and said they will continue after Vuma is done.

Now on Vumatel 4/1Mb costs R599, and on Octotel 10/5Mb cost R599.

Anyone on Octotel with any issues? Should I wait another month or 3 for them to finish? I don't really need more than 4Mb but 10Mb for the same price would be nice.

Edit: Area is Sonstraalheights

Both these are next to each other outside complex, Vuma already dug inside complex, Octotel not

Wired connection, see screenshot and speeds. I'm subscribed for a 50 Mbps line.
