Great stuff :). No problem.
 
Dunno if CISP has changed anything, but my torrents are running much better today. Quickly reached a combined speed of 10MB/s.

Yes I see it is much better.... but too late as I have cancelled and moving to another ISP at the end of this month. Downloads are very inconsistent no matter time of day.

I only just moved to CISP. What fibre network are you on? Performance seems good on Openserve.

@PBCool What's changed on the network ... Been having some weird and wonderful speeds these last few days ... 200/200 Nitro +

Tests on cable? That ping suggests either WiFi or an equipment problem
 
My vumatel with coolideas just went "down" for about 30 seconds and when it came alive again i noticed 2-3ms lowest ping cpt to jhb. You have my permission to "kill" the connection for 30sec every day if it means further drop in ping ;)

sitting now between 18-20ms and right before was sitting 20-23ms , probably just something random but if not it be good to hear if something changed few minutes ago. :)

Oh well thats bizarre, after 2 more 30sec outtage the ping is back to 20-23ms which is fine but why did it drop to 18-20ms stable for that brief period and not remain at it is quite strange.

If the line keeps dropping them please log it with us. The latency variation I'm not sure about but is usually last mile again.

It's on cable. Got the same result from multiple machines on the network. Either connected directly to the router or via switch.

This morning the results seem more normal so something funky was up ...

Nah Im suspecting vumatel might have done something in those 3x 30sec odd connectivity break. Not a major concern, I was a bit more curious about the ping being changes even though it is right now where its always been aside from the brief period the ping was stable and a few ms lower. Definitely not worth having a long discussion over either, all good. :)
