So PBCool, called your Call Centre this morning and was told there is a known issue witg Evotel in Northriding and since 7 pm last night. Got hold of Evotel on social media and they confirmed they know nothing about it and have no open ticket.... So who is lying to me? The speed has since picked up to 25 meg but still not close to my usual 40 plus....
We only got feedback this morning that there was a spike on one or their OLTs and they are investigating, the known issue from our side is the multiple reports from customers we received.

So more than likely internal comms at Evotel.

@PBCool is there any way to view my monthly download/upload usage? I don't see it anywhere in the coolzone?
We don't track each users use. You can track it yourself if you like.

I phoned to report my fibre out in Glenvista and wasn't told this I was just told it will take a day to fix! Can you tell your staff on the help desk
Apparently this has been resolved.

Hi PBCool,
Just upgraded my line speed from 20/2 -> 50-5 and paid for it on your portal (shows it's active) - what's the expected waiting time for the upgrade to kick in? I'm on Vuma Aerial in Athol

Not much unfortunately its a best effort service, are you only getting half the speed during the day as well?

It appears to be all the time.

Sorry but best effort is not cutting it. Im paying for 100Mbps and not 43Mbps

No I don't mean there is no resolution, I mean from a recourse perspective Vumatel states it's best effort, it just takes some time to get resolution with this kind of thing as the default from Vumatel is they check the levels and state the line is fine, we then need to build a case ourselves with results etc for them to do anything else.
We will get your service back to 100Mbps as it should be, will you PM me your ticket number.
