Having some major issues on Octotel, CPT Kenilworth area this morning. This is usually > 100mbps:

same here in Wilgeheuwel & Randpark Ridge.
Vumatel Aerial. local seems slow, international is almost dead. getting 5mbps on speedtest on 100mbps line

Problem seems to be fluctuating. Speedtests will be > 100mbps, then 15 minutes later back down to 2mbps, rinse repeat.

@TheRoDent, when will the routing issue be resolved regarding the higher latency to London?

We are waiting for a dark pair to go live this week, hopefully tomorrow. Once we've finished our bits, we will be back on the usual path. Hopefully by end of the week, but being a "short" week, who knows.

Two of our Rosebank core routers hit 100% cpu utilisation from around 12:00 till 12:30. The situation has been resolved but we are still investigating the cause.

Please post again if there are still problems.

I'm wondering if that is because of the cable you are currently using to get to london.
Will be interesting to see if the performance reverts once the other cable goes live again.

Yea, same here, netflix and twitch completely dead, getting random disconnects from everything else. This is in Umhlanga, Durban
