Cool Ideas Fixed 5G/4G Feedback Thread

Power outage in Centurion and surrounds affecting CI Vodacom 5G. No reception/signal currently.

Strangely, my neighbour who is also with Vodacom 5G direct has full reception and my cellphone as well.

Is there a problem on CI's side?

Can explain why I'm troubleshooting with my mother for the last 2 hours on whatsapp video call. She has no service in Margate KZN. :unsure:
 
HI there, Vodacom has escalated the issue to their engineers for further investigation, apologies for the continued delays here.
This was the latest update received around 14:30
Just a quick question, if there's a 5G outage, why does my phone (prepaid sim) have normal 5G reception?

A big thanks to @PBCool and @CoolEscalator for getting all of us us back online just in time for the weekend ! I was having a hard time adjusting to using small prepaid data bundles to cover the essentials during the outage.
