Okay, good luck with that. What are the terms - what benchmark does Broad have to reach before you expect an apology? And will you retract/apologise if he doesn't reach that mark?

He's just turned 22, has only played 6 tests and 31 ODI's.
He's ODI bowling average is under 30, his economy rate is under 5 and he has 45 wickets. Not bad at all.

yes, he's got the talent and the potential, but no one can seriously compare him to McGrath yet. In years to come maybe yes, but not now.
Just like you cannot really compare Steyn to Donald yet, just too early in his career.
McGrath and Donald delivered consistently over many years. Broad has only played six tests. You can argue his skill and potential yes, but thats it.
just my opinion.
Hope we send them in to bat if we win the toss....
In cloudy weather like this I think steyn will bowl really well, lots of swing

I am actually sitting at Lord's at the moment The weather looks pretty decent..a bit of cloud about but not really threatening rain at the moment! I reckon a 11am start is looking good.
There is a pretty good crowd here as well and quite a few still coming into the grounds
