CRICKET SA vs England

I will update the scores for you with pleasure if you would like me to:) Most of you will probably be watching the game on the TV anyway:D
some of us however will be relying solely on _you_ ;)

see if you can be faster and more SA-biased than cricinfo...

I am actually sitting at Lord's at the moment:) The weather looks pretty decent..a bit of cloud about but not really threatening rain at the moment! I reckon a 11am start is looking good.

There is a pretty good crowd here as well and quite a few still coming into the grounds:D

I am updating the scores for a local sms service by the way...that's how I get to see all the SA games:D

How did you manage that? part of your normal day job? or just a lucky break?

Nha most of us have WORK  (not me but the others :p)

I was just going to say why not use cricinfo... can't expect Mike to do ball by ball.

No but he can do over for over.... 90 posts is really not that much :)

Or even every 2de over ;)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I was preparing to watch the cricket on CSN (no digital) and only just realised they are only starting coverage at 13:00!!!!!! Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

And it looks like it may be because of stupid fsken b@stard b!tching EastNet!

Rather useless?

We're not talking about the world cup here dude.

Good ol' Pietie boy, I'd also love to see him try that reverse sweep against Steyn. (and maybe top edge it into his face at 150km/h :D)

I can't say much..

feo has stolen my words :D

Good Job Mate

So they are showing it on CSN? I dont have satelite anymore, and need to make a plan.

I have DSTV in my office, like on the TV to my left, but nothing at home. Thought I would be fine, but there's actually no way that I am fine without any coverage at home.

Yeah it is on CSN from 13:00 until 20:00.... and Supersport 2 from 11:30 to 20:00 so going to have to watch the first 1 1/2 hours on cricinfo! :)

How's this intro on cricinfo... Whooohoooo

Good morning and a frighteningly enthusiastic hello to you all. After 19 consecutive matches against New Zealand - I think we were all a bit bored by it in the end, weren't we? - we turn our attention to South Africa. Call it what you like: the sternest test for England since the last Ashes; the fiercest examination of their mettle before the next Ashes; the toughest series outside the Ashes. But let's forget the "A" word for the next few minutes at least, and let us also ignore the Ashes. It's South Africa versus England and we're 52 small minutes away from starting.

Interesting batting line up on the cricinfo site for South africa! ha ha

England team
AJ Strauss, captainMP Vaughan, SCJ Broad, KP Pietersen, MS Panesar, RJ Sidebottom, IR Bell, wicketkeeperTR Ambrose, PD Collingwood, AN Cook, JM Anderson

South Africa team
JH Kallis, HM Amla, DW Steyn, ND McKenzie, AB de Villiers, AG Prince, M Ntini, PL Harris, M Morkel, captainGC Smith, wicketkeeperMV Boucher

well, game only starts at 12:00. 11:30 to 12 is the normal yadda yadda in the studio.

but thanks for that, will have to go buy MNET decoder on saturday.

Harris is playing this game:) Nel may get a chance for the next one depending on conditions!

Enjoy the sunny weather! It's freezing here.

Never thought I would say that to someone sitting in the UK. :D
