I had that package once upon a time. Yes it is pricey, but it's pricey because it works (like medical aid, the more expensive options are better). Gaming and Streaming went beautifully.
Had that package for many months until recently upgrading to the 8Mbps version - definitely the best data package I've ever been on.
Latency is excellent and stable and streams consistently run at max attainable speed. Another highlight for me is when international links experience outage/downtime, my service isn't interrupted, which was definitely not the case with other ISPs.
Well worth the money.

Perfect really. Streaming and gaming is prioritised, so it is normal that it is that way.
Hey guys, I'm looking at signing up for the 10Mbps Premium Home Uncapped, for those console players what are your pings on games? I know Destiny averages at around 360ms ping with the trial account from Crystal Web. Anybody care to share their experience before I take the plunge...

When I was using this package my pings were slightly below the sort of averages I'd gotten with other ISPs.
What were your averages though?

Did not play on any US servers, EU was ~190, iirc.
The point I was making is that I suspect CW is closer to the theoretical lowest ping than the average.

Youtube - Very Good (Never got above 1.5Mbps but that was due to line issues my side, after getting fixed saw in excess of 2.3Mbp)
Downloads (p2p, http) - Perfect (almost full line speed all the time)
Also their customer service is fairly quick to respond (Live Chat, and emails get replied to within 24hrs)

Ah ****, sorry man, I didn't notice you were asking about a particular game!
But in any event, I think the point still stands, which is that you are probably going to get about the best latency you can with using CW.
160ms ping to EU on Rocket League (console). I have destiny, if you can tell me how to check the ping in Destiny on PS4, I'll test?

Cape town guys always have lower pings than the rest of the country.
But there was a guy from Newcastle who had 150ms ping?

Here is my test I am in North West and on the 4mbps Premium Uncapped
Anything else running on your line? - jitter seems high
Rather test 3 times and pick the best one.

From my research Crystal Web operates multiple international fibre breakouts, with Cape Town being just one of them. There is also a breakout in KZN, and there is WAN Optimization applied to inland link traffic.
