Sorry for the late response, was playing doubles on Destiny, grinding that grimmoire score....
I use a site on the Ps4's web browser, its : www.speedof.me
It's HTML5 so no flash required since consoles don't have flash...
I also connect to London even by just logging on, anyways the ping is around 360ms...Please test and let me know, thanks

How do you measure that 360ms on Destiny?

Why would you want to go to Web Africa? Are you a masochist?

EDIT: Sorry I was thinking about OpenWeb. Honestly have no opinion on Web Africa as I haven't seen too many negative things.

Okay, I use this site www.speedof.me when I load up Destiny...
But either way whether you are on PSN or Destiny the ping should be the same...
Do you guys have your PC's/consoles connected directly to the router?

I wouldn't hold my breath, there has been price reductions on IPC & other Isp's packages before, and no price reduction has trickled through to customers. It went into network infrastructure.

I didn't run it from any game, but on PC straight from the website.

Nope all wireless here.

Will try you site now just updating firmware.

Yeah but this seems quite drastic from a major competitor.

Enough to make me consider switching as I can get 10mb instead of 4mb for similar money.

I'm actually not a big fan having had failing customer service from them in the past (hosting though).

But 10mb vs 4mb? That's a big deal.

Where? WebAfrica is similarly priced on Business Uncapped, and their normal uncapped has a star rating system which throttles you based on a 10 day rolling window, which is HORRIBLE.

CrystalWeb only shapes when network usage is high, which is almost never the case. The last time I can remember being shaped, was July last year, but it didn't last long. I am gladly paying more for this luxury, although I would appreciate a price reduction.

Maybe you're talking about someone else than WA?

I haven't investigated it that deeply.

They just announced massive price cuts this morning and I saw the summary of it all.

Haven't ever used them.

I would advise against it unless you go Business Uncapped - spoke to a rep on WA live chat this morning. 10 day rolling windows for throttling is NOT something you want to subject yourself to.

EDIT: I know I sound like a CW rep sometimes, but coming from other sub-par ISPs, I cannot reiterate enough how much better they are at service delivery.
 
CrystalWeb seriously need to step up their marketing. The website is still going on about price cuts that happened more than a year ago.

If CW would just start supporting rollover capped packages that would change my world I'm sure.

Very happy with them. Would just love 10mb without going broke.
