I await my March invoice with interest as I signed up this month for 25GB capped @ R39/mth and paid in advance for March but my nightly usage stats say I'm on 150GB capped.

This is my third account with CW in two years and still the portal is bust :(

Was this information easily sourced or are in the industry to have access to it? Merely asking as I could not find anything on this, and would like to have better information sources for the future.

Yep, can confirm what you are seeing aswell. some CW users and some Webafrica users getting crazy spikes during raids. Can say this is happening on private wow servers too. Its unplayable like this, have to revert to a Afrihost account to raid

Please sort this out asap. dont want to have drop you guys cause of this

this is now sorted, peering up with new provider.

they are a new peer at napafrica and only requested peering late yesterday afternoon, 24 hours after they launched their za servers.

happy gaming.
 
Goodness gracious.

I'm a bit low on cap before the end of the month and so switched to Afrihost.

Not only did I get international level lag on the new BF1 servers but also endless disconnects from the game and Xbox Live.

Everything else like Netflix and Amazon works just fine.

Did a Speedtest and I get less than half of my actual line speed.

Shocking!

How do you use your data? I find it pretty easy going with so few hours actually counting with Crystal Web. 1.5TB used so far this month and the 500GB cap will definitely see the month out.

Only on 150GB package and went a bit nuts with the Xbox during capped time and forgot to leave it till after midnight.

876GB total.
 
Anyone having news server problems, sometimes going at 0 KB/s and last 2 days tons of missing articles on recent nzbs.

That's due to DMCA take down on the articles. Big problem with usenet currently.

If you up it to 50 connections+ then you should get your full speed. 10 connections gets me around 3MB/s, give it a try.
With regards to the news server, I am using the premium server with new login details and am trying to get stuff that is literally an hour old so I'm sure it's not DMCA take down issues.
I don't know why it is happening, has been fine but a lot of problems the last 2 days, will keep trying!

Thanks! I didn't know we could go higher than 10. Will try your suggestion soon.
 
1.86TB so far this month. Don't hate me Crystal Web. 100Mbps fibre, a big family, Backblaze unlimited online backup and 4K TV is a brutal combination.

No invoice yet but:

Yesterdays stats - 15GB used -- 18h00-00h00 Cap -- 150GB

Todays stats - 35GB used -- Capped

... guess they're busy recalculating GBs used outside of free time.
