@DJ...

Your debiting system didn't work last month, so I was told to EFT the funds. I was told to go through the setup of debit order again, but I left it and figured I'd stick to EFT.

Come to this month and I sent through my payment, and was then debited as well. Chat told me yesterday that I'd get a refund as we're both FNB but I'm still waiting and chat is offline.

There was a major issue with the debit order payment provider last month that I wasn't happy about, so we switched providers. It's likely your debit order failed due to the previous provider's system error but was fine on the new provider. My apologies for this. If you PM me your details I'll get that refund authorised for you...

Hello all.. Me and a friend is going to live together next year in Silverton Pretoria.

My friend doesn't really download a lot.. maybe at most 100 GB a month

I on the other hand download quite a lot, but i only download from 12:00 to 7:00..

So with all the information i gave now, even if i download a lot in the night will streaming be ok. (twitch.tv and youtube) and let say i want to download something in the day because i need it now will i get shaped or throttled ..

Oh and if any of you guys can post pings of games that would be nice my friend plays league of legends and he wants to go with Mweb because they have lower latency.. But sofar everywhere i ask people where is should go for streaming and online gaming most refer me to either web africa or crystal web.. so i am willing to give you guys a try

Oh.. we were looking at the 4Mb premium or home option will decide based on your guys awnsers

Anyone else not have their debit orders run yet?

Mine has not gone off. Sent billing a mail now asking what is going on. Ran perfectly last month...

2nd month..still no portal...and fictitious responses to my chats asking, so have sadly decided to cancel CW as keeping customers in the loop isn't their thing.

Portals rolling out at the moment. Everyone will receive logins over the next 24 hours. Please do not ask support for yours early - once auto-generated your login details will be sent automatically to you. I have disabled the functionality for support staff to manually create logins for the system...

Will there be any screenshots and/or publicly available (as in not needing to have a portal login to view) help text on your web site? For people considering CW as a provider it would be interesting to get an idea of the capabilities of the portal before signing up. Failing that a few screenshots posted here at some point would be interesting.

Another idea might be a dummy do-nothing portal that prospective customers could log onto to have a quick look although I'm not sure if the portal code would handle multiple simultaneous logins. You'd also have to be sure to disable the change-password capability (assuming there is one) on any dummy/demo account otherwise you could be almost 100% sure that it wouldn't be long until some idiot came along and changed the password.

Just an update regarding your line, We've sent off a few requests to the Relevant department's at Telkom. No proper feedback we can give at the current moment in time as they are looking into the feasibility of a shortening your loop to another DSLAM.

Hi, has there been any update on this?

Would it be possible to have an update regarding the 8Mb package DJ or paul? I'm sure I read somewhere that it was supposed to be unveiled yesterday.

R365.00 for the line and R649 for premium uncapped package...

Just an update, this is the solution to the faulty reporting.

Sucks that you lose a whole hour worth of downloading.

Yea - I was quite aggressively hit with about 15gb worth of downloads I had start at 00:05...and was counted as in day usage. Not cool.

Oh well. Lesson learnt.

Maybe establish a fresh connection rather? I drop TI and connect to CW at 00:05 and data is allocated correctly.
