This thread is intended for customers to interact directly with Crystal Web staff about the performance of the ADSL network and to post feedback about the performance of the network and accounts. This channel is intended for existing customers to request assistance and to interact with Crystal Web directly.

In case you’re wondering where Shaun is, he remains chained to his desk for the foreseeable future but has handed over the reins of managing MyBroadband interaction temporarily to other support staff who interact directly with customers and will infrequently be able to pop in to update on larger scale operations and announcements.

For urgent queries where you are unable to contact support directly, please contact Crystal Web Steph by PM or in this thread, although we do encourage you to please use official channels such as live chat as it makes it easier to communicate and relay information, and is far quicker. Paul Hjul remains available occasionally for queries, but we encourage direct contact with support where possible.

Future news to be released and to watch out for:
• FTTH – ETA mid July
• New portals: ETA end of June (beta testers please PM me to be added to the beta testers group)
• Updated website and checkout: ETA end of July
• All new payment options introduced (including debit orders and debit cards): final testing stage

Email addresses for Crystal Web; You may also contact us via Live Chat on our Website or via our telephonic Support, Sales and Billing number - 021 300 5322

Mod_note: These threads are clearly designed/intended for customers to provide feedback to their respective ISPs - not for disgruntled former customers to vent, not for other ISPs to promote their services, etc - and, one hopes, for the relevant ISP to respond.

you didn't win a silver, you lost a gold.

We’re currently aware of an issue in CPT for premium home uncapped customers which management are busy working to resolve. Current ETA for this resolution is 25 June 2015 however fixes are going in each day.

This will resolve my lingering speed issues as well? I wasn't aware that a permanent fix was in the works.

Its 2AM in the morning and Torrents are sitting at 70Kb/s. Come on guys, these AMD press materials are never going to finish by the time I get to write about Fiji before the NDA.

Looking forward to that streaming fix.

While the account (home capped in CT) has been performing much better the last 2 weeks, there are still some times when opening a YouTube video it hits a cap of 200kB or so.

Not a train smash as I get full speed otherwise whenever I need it. And gaming is and has always been tops.

Keep us posted.

The problem in CT is "Home CAPPED" it's no wonder nothing is happening as you are ignoring the problem child - again.

Still having the same issue as well, on premium uncapped. Torrents are capped at 70KB/s.

Indeed.

They have explained why though. Currently the home capped accounts are operating out of the wrong bandwidth pipe. Although he says premium uncapped above, it was also stated in the previous thread that the capped account fix will also go live the 25th of June.

Hoping that is indeed the case.

No issues over the weekend on my Home Capped 10MB account (CPT Area). Streaming on Twitch was great (can improve still), youtube perfect, gaming perfect and NNTP downloads maxing out at 1.0Mb/s

Happy Chappie :)

NNTP maxed out at 380 kb/s 10 mb home capped cpt 12-6 last night so there are definitely still a some issues there.

Wonder why there is such a difference between two of the same accounts though as paparazzi said his nntp maxed his line ?
