Well what's wrong with your premium home uncapped?

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the comment. I'm on 4mb Prem uncapped & don't have any serious issues so far. What is wrong with your acc Spizz?

Can someone please tell me the difference between Home Capped and Premium Home Capped. The only home capped account on the "Internet" dropdown is "Crystal Clear Home Capped". The "Smart Selector" tool offers "Crystal Clear Capped Data" but this in turn leads to the "Crystal Clear Home Capped" page.

It's all very confusing. The portal for the capped account I have refers to it as "Home ADSL".

There is no premium home capped.

There are home capped, business capped and premium business capped.

Then there is home uncapped, premium home uncapped, business uncapped and premium business uncapped.

All with various service levels in regards to data consumption, protocols etc.

Then just ask what what the differences are.

Your post eluded to you being unhappy by wanting in on the home capped account improvements. Even stating that you would change accounts.

And the difference between the old and new profiles only effects home capped. Old profiles were/are being managed by the upstream provider. New profiles are managed by CW directly. This has no impact on home premium uncapped whatsoever.

Ambiguous questions??? WTF are you on Einstein? I asked whether the capped accounts referred to were the Home Capped, and whether the uncapped accounts were getting new profiles? Where does ambiguous come in?

But seeing as I'm interested now in whether you are as stupid as you appear to be, please tell me how the performance of my uncapped account has any relevance to these questions?

And are you speaking for CW in an official capacity or just being some random diick on the internet?

The changes we are implementing are only for Home Capped accounts. Home Uncapped Premium will work exactly the same and there have been no changes with those profiles.

Sure, no problem. All is okayish most of the time with the premium uncapped account and overall I'm quite happy. There are some evenings when buffering is a pain when streaming, so a capped connection was always on my mind and now reading about the new profiles maybe it's time. The 450gb home capped is probably enough fro us if we schedule the downloads and stuff and a bit of a saving too on the uncapped price.

Agreed, streaming has also been iffy for me at times, but other than that uncapped account performs well.

Thanks a lot.

I have entered the new details into the routers today.

Will see how things go and report back.

I watched a couple of YT videos as a test and I'm getting better speeds than on the old profile. So lets hope that extends to other areas as well.

Is there any way to check the usage on the new Home Capped profile? I've only used 67% of my anytime cap to date so it's not something I need to worry about, but I do like to monitor my usage.
 
On new profile.

Best capped experience I've ever had. By some margin.

Apologies for the delayed response, Been hectic at CW HQ sorting out end of month changes etc.

At this point in time there is no ETA I'm afraid however Daily Usage notifications can be enabled for your account where you will be able to track your usage.
