Another +1 for that!

Although what I really want is automated payments so I don't worry about it at all.

We already offer debit order for this.

For credit card however it's a very different story and we're still not comfortable with the 1 provider who can realistically do this right now in SA (Absa)...

Should be sorted now. Can you test it and let me know?

streaming is a bit better but latency still high and still some packet loss on the international ..... knowing what you told me earlier, I'll expect a bit of up and down while they sort everything out.

Still some KZN specific gremlins today that are being sorted out at the moment and should be solved shorty. Mostly impacting latencies in KZN...

Yeah I just checked again so I can give some feedback, still very meh but like I said earlier, I've kinda written off doing anything today. Hopefully they have all their KZN issues smoothed out tomorrow :)

Pleased to announce a permanent increase to home and business capped sizes. All home and business capped customers have already had two months of increased cap sizes for free from Crystal Web, and this has now been made permanent.

Mine went from 200/800 to 230/800. Is that the increase, as the website still shows 200/800 when I look at it.

Website hasn't updated the business capped. Still busy with that one, but the new caps are identical to the home capped...

So we get more day time data? I'm on the 600GB Home capped account. The cap use to be 120/480 it is now 150/450. Basically you move 30GB night time data to day time data?

Which is the costly bit for us, yes. Same package size, but more peak data usage is now available across the board, with more changes coming soon too...

does Crystal Web rate limit the upload speeds of the accounts? ei is a 10Mbs Uncapped account rate limited at 1Mbs up?

Your DSL line on a 10Mbps is rate limited to 1Mbps. The data account on 10Mbps has an upload rate of 1Mbps accordingly...

Mass uploads? Can you expand on what you mean? What time of day and usage in the month?

Uploading mostly RAW images to an FTP server, and some other files like documents and such. Usage would be less than about 100GB/pm but some months might be a bit heavier than others. Usage may be at odd times of the evening or during the day depending on what's going on so I can't predict it accurately.

You can grab a capped account for this. Won't be an issue. Uncapped you'd need a far more expensive account than the capped...
