We are not an account reseller, no. Our products are 100% unique other than our resellers who choose to on sell our products on a per account basis. We leverage the IS backbone as it simply is the best in South Africa in our testing and no amount of trying to create our own backbone is likely to replicate the quality that IS provides after years of refining it, setting up peering agreements, building DCs, building aggregation networks and Pops, and various other commercial and technical developments that require decades of experience and expertise as a backbone network provider...

Jesus, Crystal Web plays no games when it comes to the live chat service. I was connected to a person in literally one second.
It is the most efficient and effective method of support, and we invest very heavily into this...

I'll PM you my banking details for the commission.... :p

Something is up with the speed tonight on NNTP, getting less than half the speed (4m on 10m line).

On our side the network is looking 100% other than earlier tonight when I saw an alert for some dropped packet alerts in Durban. That one was sorted and a perma fix is set, as per our network notices, to take place on the 23rd of this month. Other than that, protocol and latency tests across all regions are 100% right now, so it's not something I expect is as a result of our network...

One day you will talk to DJ :). He picks up on live chat now and then
I enjoy doing so. Talking to customers directly and assisting makes sure I keep an ear close to the ground and quality levels up. I monitor chat and tickets whenever I have a chance to and especially when new employees join us, and is one of the reasons we can boast the best support stats in the industry as we fix problems we identify with these processes very quickly. Even if I don't reply to you directly, I'm often giving direction to the staff so they can learn by their own experience rather than us trying to clone a personality or methodology on to someone...

It's been a long time since I looked at this thread.

I'd just like to shout out to the whole CW team for the incredible home capped product since they started managing it themselves.

Hands down the best capped experience I've had since getting DSL almost a decade ago.

Makes integrating anything digitally orientated into your home, work and life routine sublimely effortless when the underpinning network "just works".

Way to go guys, keep it up. You're without peer in the SA ISP market with this offering working the way it does at present.

I just signed up, tired of MTN network issues :)

The funny thing is that Mtn is my only option in the Bronberg area, even Vodacom struggles here. At least I still have my SLOW uncapped package to work with, being without ADSl it took me back to the good old media pc and download days lol. I suppose 10 22min episodes while I sleep is not to bad, can live with that. :D

I know I mentioned this to DJ a while back and I know this will be expensive to set up, but I just wish that some ISP's can offer legal WISP services also. It is shocking when you realize how many dense populated good areas don't even have Telkom lines, 3G or LTE. There is a lot I know of in Pretoria East alone, 100's, maybe even 1000's of houses without anything. Just thinking the potential for a company to get these people connected and make a killing is there.

I mean look at Bronberg Wisp for instance, R899 for 5mbps uncapped, throttled to 1.25mbps after 200GB. That is expensive, but if you factor in how much bandwidth costs this company then they are making a nice profit per connection.

I'm on home premium uncapped, d3 latency hovers around 200ms.

A godsend to be honest. Keeping incredibly busy on numerous projects...

Sure sounds like it. Keep going guys, you're doing some fantastic stuff.

On a side note: Any indication on when we might see the upgrade customer zone? Just curious.
