Anyone who saw the 1st version knows it is growing in leaps and bounds, especially vs what is in there right now. However the charts are not updating with the live usage data at the moment simply because of a limitation on one of our partner systems for which we've had to build a workaround for and retool the system a bit. It is receiving daily updates now and we expect to be completed by month's end...
 
Shaun, I had a chat with support this morning, and it's a pleasure dealing with your support agents. The consistently good experience I have with them can only be due to consistent attention from the top - thank you.

The performance of my account continues to be stellar (the support chat identified an issue internal to my network - not related to your network - again :) ).

(Anyway, sorry to interrupt the discussion about the portal being the reason some people don't want to sign up with CW (:confused:)... As you were.)
 
Network notice: Higher than normal latency and reduced throughput in the Cape regions as one of the Telkom links have dropped and bandwidth is being load-balanced across other links. Telkom engineers are investigating but have not provided us with an exact ETA just yet...

Quick question, will there be any topup options in the future? I forgot my ps4 downloads on while I was away for the weekend. Chewed up 50GB of my cap and now I only have 10GB left for the rest of the month. I won't be able to survive with that :(

You can temp upgrade to the next available package. As far as topups go, it's bandwidth we have to carry in addition to the original forecast, and is therefore expensive for us to do so. It is therefore often easier and cheaper to temp upgrade than it is to topup.

But yes, various features in that respect are being developed...
 
Is there still an issue? Latency to local Arma 3 servers is above 400/500. might just be me but have restarted my router. best I can do.

Net in general feels sluggish. Pinging telkom gives me regular pings so nothing strange there.

Looks like there is still an IPC issue in CPT. No ETA.
 
Yes, the issue in the Cape persists. Telkom have sourced spares and will be replacing their faulty card tomorrow. Current ETA is midday tomorrow and we will keep you in the loop accordingly...

How long has this been going on? Would that explain my poor performance on a WA Business Capped account the past week (CW & WA being IS based)?

In any case, I am ready to make to switch, at least you communicate!

It's only occurred since today as far as I am aware. WA and CW are very similar performance wise, but Crystal Web is still better performing and their support is top notch. The benefits of being with a small ISP clearly show. Hopefully they don't get bought out by a larger competitor :P

I cannot speak for WA but it would impact other IS clients today. Does not account for the other previous days though which were problem free on our network at least. The link dropped shortly after 11am today...

Not sure we're small by anyone's measure any longer. We own a larger market share than some competitors and are on the prowl for healthy acquisitions ourselves...;)
 
Your systems seem to be maturing, for the first time ever I received a "Crystal Web Payment received - Thank you" email :)

... hopefully the portal will be finalized soon.
 
Hey DJ - please let us know when Cape issues are resolved.

Apple Music and Spotify are crawling, App Store update downloads the same.

Urgh !
