How does one go about getting on the exclusion list?
@DJ, please have a quick look at the support ticket I logged last night and updated this morning?
Thanks
OK don't stressNigh on impossible for me to do today, but if you PM me some info I can see what I can do.
I am out all day in meetings until about 10pm this evening...
OK don't stress
I see I JUST received an email requesting the usual winmtr crap. Not gonna help. My issue is torrents ran last night at 60KB/sec average. Well seeded...
Hi Sinbad,
I will follow up with you via your open ticket.
Thanks
For the record, winMTR etc won't help, as the line itself was running just fine. Netflix at 720p, websites snappy etc.
Just the torrents were kark.
So last week Vumatel published a PDF with the latest offerings from various ISPs, including Crystal Web. The Crystal Web advert provided a web address but this just goes to a 404 - Page Not Found error.
When will these accounts go live? I suspect you're losing market share as fibre users come on line and have to choose from existing ISPs on the Vumatel portal.

I have my own contact at Telkom that did it for me, so all I can suggest is calling the Telkom number and asking them to do it.
Hopefully they know about it by now. I see the guy on the ASSIA thread on mybb got it done via their '@HelloTelkom' twitter account.
Could try either. And if you have your line with CW they might be able to request it now as well.
Try a few different ways, at least we know it can be done.
Good to know ASSIA has an exclusion list finally...
Thanks

There is a concern about something from Telkom in KZN at the moment that I'm awaiting confirmation on. Their infrastructure (certain links) require upgrades which we requested/ordered in November last year but still hasn't happened as it involves their own infrastructure upgrades. I'm waiting on some confirmation from them on their exact dates of completion before making any concrete announcements with respect to why we're having to balance KZN bandwidth on a fine-edged-blade right now...
They unfortunately didn't communicate the exact date of publication with us, and so we are getting that up now. Problem is it's not just a static webpage that needs to go up - all provisioning and back-end automations have to be built, but we're on it and next week it should be finalised. In the interim you can communicate via live chat with an agent for more information...
Ok understood. If they have to escalate to me or upstream they must submit those tests so I can ascertain routing data at that time and know where in the network we need to look or who to rope in.
I'm not seeing a general network wide issue at all on the torrent protocols last night whatsoever so would need some live test data to work with if it needs to be escalated up, if at all...
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback DJ. It sounds as though you'll be set up just before my fibre install comes around (provided Vumatel sticks to their timeline).
