Still running perfectly. All day everyday. What more could a customer possibly want?

We've got a few ideas. Really, we asked the same question: what more can you do after you've dropped pricing and offer a super experience? Turns out, a lot...:D

Fibre to my door, pl0x. Was right awful to have to cancel my CW DSL account the other day. :(

Was this due to no infrastructure in a new location? If so, we have some very cool plans for this...

Yep, I had to take up a two year Telkom LTE contract due to the area's copper ranging between terrible (< 4mbps) and unavailable.

Pity. But our price-points proposed for the new stuff may still make it feasible for you. You never know...:D

DJ you have a quick PM from me, hope you can just advise on a proposal and whether its possible

Thanks
Ice

The account will work from our side, yes. But we do not encourage using such a low speed account on a high speed line...

If Vodacom ever becomes open access...
Vodacom have stated they are "open access" (see recent interview with MYBB). But I am not sure of their terms.

Can anyone sign up for CW business accounts? R750pm for 500GB on a 6 month contract is really good. Does it work on 100Mbps fibre? Does it include uncapped midnight data and a premium news server?

Edit: Stupid me. FAQ mentions no news server and says home users aren't allowed them. Oh well.

It's an SMME development product, so no, only for actual business users and therefore doesn't include the news server as it is simply not needed for business use...

Erm, is IS having a ditzy atm? Got no traffic on CW or WA at all.

Edit - seems it was a 4 minute thing only

Yeah just checked and it seems in one area in DBN there was a drop but quickly failed over and sorted itself out...

I see on the website there is mention of a 'free' download time. What's the best time to schedule torrents? 12 -6am?

I suggest 1am to people I talk to directly, up to 6am, just to account for Telkom sending the usage data somewhere between the hour which causes a problem for recognising the time of use. Also prevents major spikes of usage at that time if we can spread it out a bit...

Cool. Thanks.

Will jump on with support tomorrow if it's still as is but since that hiccup earlier, supersport and dstv live/now are both giving this -

server DNS address could not be found.
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Does load when I switch Mweb but it takes a while so there's something funky somewhere with DSTV too methinks.

Same issue I'm seeing on Vodacom LTE right now occasionally. Having to refresh the feed endlessly and the site is all but dead on occasion...
