Can I just say how damn nice this ISP is by the way. Browsing has been relentlessly snappy since I joined, latency is superb and all members of the household have been praising the streaming and/or gaming performance.

I just wish the news server would run faster than my grandma...

Premium as my back-up and the IS local as my primary. 10 connections. blah blah. Pretty standard.

Whenever I need the odd thing during the day - I'm on capped so my downloads only fire off after 00:00 - it comes down at max speed.

The articles you are pulling, are they generally new (less than a week old) or are they older? What I've seen is that on the local one if an article is pretty old it will only come down at 1MB/s. The new stuff - which downloads automatically nightly - comes down at max speed.

That has been my experience so far anyway.

All brand new nzbs from NZB-SA, nzb.is and OZnzb. And from Sonarr automatically downloading stuff through SABnzbd.

Woah! Just before sending this I checked SABnzbd to see the speeds of the new Sonarr downloads and I saw the last download coming in at 9MB/s just before it finished. Maybe the weird news issues are behind me. This was the local IS server.

I am an avid CW supporter due to the great network. I do however have a huge issue with the portal.
On Thursday, I saw that using my CW account, every 5th ping would go through and the other pings would fail.
After a support ticket, I was informed that my account has been capped. Your portal showed a different usage.
Will this be fixed and when?
I do not want to move but the portal is a big issue for me.

The portal is nonsense in its current form. It is undergoing a rather large upgrade. I agree, the portal needs a lot of work and is what we've been doing...

I've got a deployment ready to go, but it is directly tied to one of our new payment methods and the provider thereof. To pull that alone is nigh on impossible without causing many more issues. So my frustration in not being able to provide the exact date is very, very real. Ultimately everything should just be self-service from the portal - easier for us and easier for you guys. So the frustration is shared, possibly more from our front considering how much this dev has cost us...

DJ please give me info about VOIP? Do you provide phones, or what phone(s) should I get / compatibility issues etc? Costs?
Can't find anything on your website and live chat doesn't work from my office.
 
Don't want to seem like an idiot (i probably am) but where on the portal can i view my current month's usage for my account? I've looked at the usage statistics but it only shows me a daily statistic for the current month.

Above the graph is shows month to date usage...
 
Something doesn't seem right with the news servers. I haven't been able to get above 1MB/s in SABnzbd during peak hours. Newsbin Pro has decided to accept the CW settings, and since starting a download in it a few minutes ago I've seen the 1MB/s limit distributed between SABnzbd and Newsbin Pro. It's a really hard limit - speeds will shift from 300-600KB/s in each client and the other will adjust perfectly to add up to 1MB/s.

Surely that means I'm being throttled by the server? I'm seeing the same performance on both servers.
 
I think I'm getting DoSd... anyone else suffering?
