Have you tried NNTP?

I got Luke Cage down at over 4MB/s just now and this was just using the 2 CW servers

I'm more concerned with why torrents are being shaped. I generally don't download much over NNTP these days as the file sizes are so damn big, but I see that Luke Cage was an option as it's the same files.

The torrents are flying in right now on Afrihost, so won't bother changing.

Having some issues with their billing of my account as well. Trying to get it sorted by it doesn't look promising currently.

OH, forgot to mention, if anyone of you are using snapscan, there are upgrades to the website so the QR code l ink is indeed broken (at least for me). They sent me a new link to use.

The QR code is in the body of the invoice email.

Have been using it like that for a few months now instead of going hunting for it like before.

Also paid through WeChat and scores R250 odd.

Billing on a Saturday? Rather email them.
I have and I've received a response, which is the bit that doesn't seem very promising. Will wait until Monday before I pull the trigger on what I plan do to, I suppose.

I need to look into this wechat pay thing. How does it work?

100% it's in the body of the invoice. Just the link was broken for me.

Also glad they included the code in the invoice. Mail hunting sacked.

You can use wechat or the snapscan app. Once you have the app, you load our credit card details in, set a pin and you're ready to go. When vendors take snaps can, you just sent using either app above and plug in your pin code. It's safer as there is now no chance of your card being skimmed.

NNTP and torrents operate identically on our end as well, and there is no shaping happening on the network right now.

Why is CW shaping torrents?

It's too easy to assume as much. If it goes via the correct support channels we can identify any faults there may be or a config issue somewhere, or something not quite right that we can just quickly sort out for you. It's too easy to draw conclusions and get angry without giving us a chance to see what the issue may be. Use the support channels when there are issues, let them escalate things to us when need be.

Remember that we have built brand new configs for the new products and there may be an error on our part somewhere. Happy to admit that these things occasionally happen but no way to know it is the case, however we will test on our side nonetheless. Or it could be something more isolated as torrents and nntp should be treated identically.

So rather report things and let us investigate and fix where need be if on our side. We certainly don't have a "shape torrents" button.

Wondering if this is the same query I have . Did yours suddenly increase?

If this is with respect to discounts, when we adjusted pricing 2 years ago we left all old customers on the old pricing and also passed down additional discounts each time we reduced. It's been over 2 years of reduced pricing and we are normalising all pricing across the board on the new accounts.

I haven't used it to pay for anything else yet and this was my first.

It's a Standard Bank thing (as is Snapscan) so I guess Snapscan is the method of payment and the Wallet is to hold the cash.

Was quite easy, just inside the App I added CC and hit pay with SnapScan.

I'll use it to accumulate funds while the promo is on and then see about spending it.

I am having the exact same issues for almost the exact same amount of time and pretty much only in the evenings in Cape Town but on Web Africa who also use IS. Yet I switch to a trial Axxess account and the problem goes away. Still need to try CW when it happens though.

Ping issues in Klerksdorp Monday to Friday 14-120ms, until 21h00. After 21h00 calms down to 14-50ms.
Weekends, everything seems perfect.

9pm is our peak, so unlikely to have anything whatsoever to do with a capacity issue our side. What has support investigated for you and come back with and can you let me know the ticket number(s) associated with this?

Promotion until December. Add a debit or credit card to Wechat and then pay with Wechat via Snapschat. After the payment you get up to 50% back into your Wechat wallet. Scored nearly R400 over the past three weeks doing that at my local restaurant/pub. You can use the money in the wallet on specials like that phone deal or cash out at a Standard Bank ATM (R10 fee). Pity Zapper is dominant in my town. Oh and you still get your 4% back in eBucks on Premier.

Thanks. Have done the setup.
I thought the promo ended in June though.
