I believe it's a wireless product.....
I don't know anyone personally but evonet said it was being rolled out. I'm really interested in it as I used a wimax before and was happy with it. Had 4mb down and up.Is anyone actually using it yet?
It can be either...Is XtremeTTH a fibre product or a wireless product?

Elaborate?
How do you know this?
AFAIK if there is no fibre in the area then it is fibre to a base station and then a wireless network... until there is sufficient demand to go FTTH in that area. I also doubt that Evonet is exclusive to CW and will guess that other ISPs will be involved in the venture. This will put pressure on the fibre network providers to speed up their FTTH rollout. It might be fiber to the base station and wireless from there in phase one.
CWM said something in that direction just before they left us on a cliffhanger by going radio silent about all new products in the pipeline.
It's on their web page: http://www.crystalweb.co.za/xtremetthinfo.phpHow do you know this?

Got a dial tone....just no Web Access.
Anyone experience any outages due to the thunderstorm in JHB south?
Same with Cape Town lolI'd kill for a thunderstorm. It feels like PE averages less than one a year.
