Discovery Vitality 2024

Do online workouts on the Virgin Active app count as gym visits in terms of the requirement of visiting 36 times in a year? They used to during pandemic times.

Nope. Get your ass to gym.

I can't till I get better. Caught the latest cold virus doing the rounds and before that a nasty post-operative infection!
Just go smash smoothies at Kauai. If anyone else gets infected, it's their fault since no-one told them to walk around with a weak immune system.

reminder to all dual users, today is the day that discovery switches over to checkers for healthy foods. You dont have to do anything as long as your sixty60 card is linked to your ID on the app and you have chosen checkers as the primary partner on discovery, which it did automatically for me, then you good to go.

I’ve missed this. Have Discovery dropped Woolworths and pick n pay?

I brought you guys to the right thread. Discovery dropped PnP, the choice is now between Woolies and Checkers.

Switched partners but nothing about adding my rewards card for linking.

If you use the same ID number for the partners' loyalty cards, you do not need to do anything. Scary, but that is what we sell to get the rewards.

All my 300 points for a Kauai smoothie has disappeared since yesterday!

It's not on my app today either

Has this benefit changed at all? 😞

Mine gone too
Lemme ask them on Twitter

Bloody Age calculator thing says I am 3 years older than I am  I admittedly haven't exercised much since our youngest was born, I have put on weight and sleep is a distant memory, so maybe it is right...

If I am not mistaken it's quite dependent on you telling them that you exercise 150 minutes or more per week and that your diet is on point, oh also if your biomarkers in the last health check were sub-optimal they will penalise your Vitality Age due to that as well.

Yeah, my diet according to them has always been an issue, too much meat or red meat at least, despite every single blood marker always being normal. My BMI is also always ‘high’ as I am only 1.76cm tall and BMI as an absolute measure is completely and utterly meaningless but their actuaries don’t see it that way.

The Vitality travel benefit is starting to feel like a real scam and blatantly false marketing.I qualify for a 43.5% discount on international flights yet if I book through Investec or Flight centre the prices are the same as those that Discovery offer!!!
