DStv Streama launch date and price announced

MultiChoice's long-awaited media streaming TV box — the DStv Streama — will launch in South Africa on 1 October 2022.

MultiChoice South Africa CEO, Nyiko Shiburi, revealed the official launch date during the company's 2022 Media Showcase on Thursday.

Actually looking for a device to use for my son's room so he can watch YouTube kids and I can have the main TV back. I read some not so nice reviews about sticks opposed to boxes. Any recommendations?

Xiaomi mi stick the 4k one the older Model is e waste....normal chromecast 3rd gen would be a fair shout,it's refurbished at incredible connection for r700 assuming your son has a phone to initiate the cast or you can use your phone...future proof would be chromecast with Google tv but that's R2000... streaming boxes go on sale often end of November so keep an eye out

As mentioned in the post you quoted. The Mi 4k streaming stick.

EDIT: Most of those reviews will be because people don't use the included HDMI extender cable. It'll allow the device to get better airflow and you'll probably get better Wifi signal as well.
