FNB iPad 3 plans

Still haven't received my "proper" replacement and apparently one has to be ordered from overseas. These people are so incompetent its difficult to comprehend. I have been in constant e-mail communication with a guy on that side and have been giving him a hard time - he has been pretty good but it is unfortunate that he gets let down by the rest of the staff.

The error was reported on Friday the 18th and I had no straight answer on how they were going to resolve my issue until this afternoon (and it still sounds iffy).

Never dealing with them again if I can help it.
Count yourself lucky. For Apple to replace an iPad they require three or more dead pixels.
 
muther fluffer .... after waiting from the 28th of April, and calling like 8 times. They now say theres no stock of the 32gig one and they dont know when they will get any :( FFS, so I changed to the 64gig model which they do have stock of.... Jeevs!!!

This is generally only if the device has already been replaced. Apple will replace the unit even if it only has one dead pixel if it is brand new, once you have returned it and the new one also has dead pixels then they will use the 3 or more rule.
 
Just took delivery of mine now. Not had much time to play with it but so far it seems alright.
Need to try get a Micro Sim card from 8ta on my way home.
 
Got the call today that my replacement has finally arrived. Delivery tomorrow. One month since my initial order was made and tomorrow I may have a fully operational iPad again.

So have you received your 64? I made the same change but then got told the wait will now be 30 days or so.
 
Phoned them today, was told I'd only be receiving mine next week - ordered it the morning they were released on the site. The woman on the phone sounded very flustered and told me that it was "very confusing" over there - to me it sounds like they don't really have a very efficient ordering system in place.

What is number that you phoned?
 
I bank with FNB and interested in the 16gb (3G+wifi) Ipad 3, FNB website states R259 + R120 account fee - this is the normal account fees that we all pay monthly anyway right ?
If so, then you just pay R259/mnth over 24 months for device - how much is 1gb data bundle and Micro Sim through Vodacom ... Is that all I need ?
