Lucky you that has the option to change! We are due to get our FF lit up end of next month, but I can't say I am looking forward to it. It seems to be that the network has more hassles than not, and in comparison it makes my Telkom LTE connection look like smooth sailing:

Rowallan park seems fine , connection up 23 hours , uploaded 740 gig past 23 hours

Mikrotik with snmp, and cacti , just got it working yesterday , default cacti in ubuntu did not want to work, used all in on windows installer for now.

Edit : dlink dsl-g2562dg i tried also have snmp but the stats not showing right for it
Did not try the cool ideas supplied router as it only 100mbps

Or they did not do maintenance or they worked carefully, my connection never dropped, or im not affected by it .
 
I have been off since 3:30 am, FF Summerstrand with the maintenance

Edit so when we not down because of load shedding, we down because of maintenance that has gone over time lol

My telkom LTE stayed up more, unfortunately that contract I have already transfered :/

We ordered before Frogfoot bought Blitz Fibre so I dont think I ever had a FRG order number

we used to track the order etc on blitz.aex.co.za
