Did you ever get 20mb speed? Same speed on different devices? Try do single thread speedtest on smart phone for eg?

Maybe try some back to basics? Fragmentation?

I will check these out. Sorry I am on 20Mb fibre. I usually get 2.5 down and about 1.5 up. I am currently getting 1.5 down and not uploading to Google Drive so not sure on that at the moment.

So, it's like a 2mb line then, probably won't notice the difference downgrading to 10mb. More than likely the usual packet loss issue. Are those local speeds?

What does https://www.bandwidthplace.com/ to cape town and london show?

It could very well be that, and they made some changes a couple of months ago. But it appears to be back again. They point the finger at Vox, Vox says it isn't them. I'll move to Vumatel once my installation period winds down and costs me nothing to change. I'll stay with Vox as they've been pretty good.

Cape Town:
Top Download 19.6Mbps; Top Upload 3.08Mbps so it appears to have correct itself. 42ms ping.

London
Top Download 15.41Mbps; Top upload 2.72Mbps. Ping 251ms which is slower than I normally get.


Last night playing BF3 though on a European server saw 245ms ping where it's normally around 190-195ms. So it's up and down.
