Winter I would guess monthly. Summer at least twice a month, during a heatwave once a week. Towels once a week regardless.

Reminds me of boarding school. Changing linen was a mission, one of the oaks kept the same sheets and covers on for a whole term until him mum came in to change it for him.

Beddings/linen - every 2 days in winter. Towels - daily. Why does Bwana have no daily or once in 2 days option? In summer I wash and change linen and pillowcases daily. You chaps are feckin disgusting, sleeping in sweat-coated sheets and pillowcases.

Wash your towels after every use. They become breeding grounds for bacteria - you might end up with abscesses and skin infections if you don't due to the staph bacteria.

I don't know.

My wife does these kinds of things (the benefit to me of her being a SAHM)

Aren't the British famed for their habit of liking to avoid a bath? Or so the stereotype goes. Them or the French but given this study I assume it's the British. I know Italians are seen the same but not for want of a bath.

I change mine weekly which is when I take stuff to the laundromat.

The Brits love their baths - it's the smelly French you're thinking of - hence all the eau de toilettes ;)

When I was living on campus I probably changed my bedding once in the 3 years I lived there. I only made my bed if I know my parents were coming to fetch me and that was a surprise most of the time since cellphones were still a novel thing to have in '99.

There were no prospective girls on the hostel so I couldn't care less. Hell, I think I only showered once a week.

i honestly dont get some of the replies here
once or twice a week change of linen and towels?
WTF are you people doing to get these things so dirty?

i change bedding once a month, except pillow cases are fortnightly
Towel, i only own 1 towel, it gets washed once a year

Now i feel guilty and need to buy more towels, just so bloody expensive. Where is a cheap place for towels? No more than 50 bux

Towels are like R100 each for the cheapies at Checkers and such. Decent towels are more along the lines of R200 each. You can go to the local china mall and get the slave-labour towels for R69 each though.
