I own a property video website
www.uchoose.co.za and was banking on the seacom cable makeing the video run without buffering, nothing after a month has changed, if anything things have got worse. We were promised so much with the cable going live but I do not see anything happening. My streaming server is in the US and when I was in the UK the videos ran so good I was thinking I would have to put a delay to stop the videos playing immediately, no problem here, - connecting to server 5 seconds, buffering 10 seconds then plays like a friggin slide show, jerking, then buffering again. It takes 25 minutes to upload a 7MB video, that's dial up speed! we have ADSL 4MB can anyone advise if changing my ISP from telkom to someone else will improve the ADSL speed? Is anyone experiencing speeds that is actually broadband?
