Went to Telkom yesterday, had to get a new QR code. It was painless.

Times like this I wish Takealot would just take out all their schitty 'competitors' in SA.
My phone was picked up by the courier (FedEx) from IC on Friday last week - I 'should' have it by tomorrow they say (info obtained via call centre - the online tracker just tells you it was picked up - no delivery ETA), latest Wednesday...
Another courier company [RTT] (item from iStore) simply don't answer their phones - item was picked up from iStore on the 21st of September - still no ETA.
Takealot - ordered a phone on Thursday - delivered on Friday before 12h00 - Boom!

One store just has Pro Max’s.

So what size did you get in the end? The 128GB seems like a bad choice for the Pro Max ... I'd want the 256GB there.

Yeah I think I'm used to it, had a S20+ for three years now ... and the Pro Max is equivalent to that. Luckily I got big hands.
Jesus, you’d think they could update their homepage or send an email out. That’s awesome to know, thanks man.
I’m surprised SA is receiving them so timeously actually. The phones and AirPods are only about a week late this year compared to most of the world. Who remembers how long it used to take for iPhones to land here…

Don't think they are sure themselves :
1st Store : They aren't mentioning/advertising the Pro's because they think the demand won't be that high.
2nd Store : They don't know when they are getting released.
Did you end up getting your gift card? If so, how was it delivered (sms, email)? My phone arrived today but no voucher yet.
