I bought the device for someone else but due to unforeseen circumstances they can no longer take possession of it whilst I have no use for it. Wife and daughter already have 14 Pro's.

Not sure I agree with his argument. Ditching the data port doesn't help Apple. Yes, they made money off lightning but if they're going to abandon that anyway for wireless charging, then why not include the port? It solves more problems than it creates.

I don’t think this will ever end.
There was a time when I was a Samsung user and loved these, in the early days, but when we got to the Note8 era I felt as though these ads sort of diminished the Samsung brand relative to what the Note8 was capable of at the time. In fact their focus on Apple made me more curious of iPhones.

Haha, i got this last week only for them to phone me and tell me it was a system glitch and that the phone hasn't arrived yet. I dont even care about it anymore at this point.

Don't give up so easily.
The phone was released in September and it's only November.
It took me until February to give up on the 13 and wait for the 14 instead.

Excellent video. Never thought about it but I wouldn't be surprised now should Apple go the 'wireless charging only' route and remove the port entirely. No surprises as to who will follow them....
