That's very useful, thanks. I have to move to a network that allows apple watch integration on my primary sim but was worried about the normal contract data costs on MTN and Vodacom. This way I can get a smaller contract so that they can give me the watch esim and then get a data only package so I still have a good amount of data.

Interesting. I haven't read about eSim. I have a dual SIM phone so does it mean I can have 3 SIM's now (2 physical and one eSIM) ?

Just be careful as Vodacom only does eSim for watches properly as far as I’m aware. Maybe some other peeps can advise.

Nope - very ancient phone, 2017. Read up a bit on eSim since my post.

I didn't say it was only iPhone, note I said phone

There are also Pixel models that are eSim and I seem to recall an Oppo phone as well.

All I said was being dual sim didn't make a phone eSim capable.
