Is evetech good or shady?

Evetech reached out to me and offered loan 3700x while I wait for 3900x. Pretty decent of them.

Prices are great, not had to deal with after sales service yet. shipping was also really good.

I just googled them. They say 3 year warranty - then you look a bit closer and they say "3 year local warranty""

What is their local warranty?

Evetech are beyond shady.

Other than their claim of "Why Buy From Us? 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!

You then see a claim that "99% Recommend Us"

Click on that little gem - and you go in a loop.

Ah, here we go with Evetechs abysmal practice:

Where goods are provided with a warranty period greater than 12 months, the first 12 months of the warranty covers all parts and labour costs, where as any subsequent period of the warranty cover only relates to labour costs only. e.g. If a product is sold with a 3 year warranty, the first 12 months covers parts and labour, and the next 24 months covers labour costs only.

As stated above we provide Return to base warranty which means, Customers are liable for the shipping charges for returning of faulty goods. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Ok, as has been said a few times before - Evetech are basically screwing everyone over if something goes wrong. Verges on fraud. They sell a product that has a 3 year manufacturers warranty? They will not replace after 1 day after 1 year.

They will likely get the product from the manufacturer (free) - and then charge you full price for replacement. As well as courier costs.

Lol, classic crafty scammer style, offers a 3yrs warranty but only the first year covers parts, wtf

I've pointed this out before but I doubt those that buy from them care. They're a bunch of shady mofos.

Is there any good reason to get the Ryzen 3 3200g over the Ryzen 5 3400g. Normal gaming PC, already have a good GPU card (R9 380x)

In the past when I was still a client I have returned items after 2 years and got it completely replaced. So maybe that is just for items that doesn't have 3 year manufacturer warranty but only 1 year manufacturer warranty and then 2 years "Evetech" "labour" warranty?
