Greetings!

I'm on the look out for a new TV as i'm moving and my current viewing is done on the flat mates set.

I only have a 6k budget at a push and want a decent set (LG,Samsung,etc) 40 inch and up, preferably 43.

I will be watching alot of sport on it and using it for occasional gaming.

I found this special but i'm worried about the refresh rate, 50Hz. Really dont want ghosting while watching sport.

I can't comment on the tv, but this exact one is on takealot's daily deals today for R5,699.

I would change source/channel every hour or two or so, so that the static image areas can be 'refreshed'.

Viewing distance is important. If you sit close you might notice pixels. Most people do not sit close though. From around 2.5 - 3m you should be good.

I'm just over 3m from the 60" and it's perfect. I agree, closer and you start to see the pixels.
