Well with just looking at the spec sheet te samsung is superior with more ports and outputs.

But also on a hands on note of this is the same lg plasma on display at hirsch it doesn't stand up to the samsung plasma at all. I did a comparison when I was buying the ps42c450 and the picture was much better on te samsung.

That's my two cents.

Hi
I've read quite a few pages on this forum - you guys are definitely the experts! :-)
I've decided that a 50" FHD plasma will be suitable for me (like the Samsung PS50C550). Does anyone know of good specials in the Cape Town area this week? I've just checked HiFi & Game pamphlets, but nothing stands out.
Thanks

There is a second hand Samsung 50 inch C550 (I think) plasma for sale at Cash Crusaders in Centurion Mall for R5500.

I think it is the C550, as it is Full-HD and it looks like the images I could find online.

The condition looks fair, a minor scratch or two.

We're not in a court of law here or at a business meeting. You know very well the meaning of expert in colloquial conversation. Context, my dear friend.

Warranty?

I would pay R1,000 more for the HD Ready PS50C430 with 1 year warranty, any day.

I see that Makro have the LG 37LE5500 advertised for R 6 999 whilst the cheapest price advertised on Pricecheck is R 11 651 !!
