Any specials on the 50C550? Should be quite a bit less since its the older model
 
I found this bargain and worried that it might be a scam. Have anyone used TMC ELECTRONICS TRADING CO.,Ltd. before?

I got their detail from Vottle ad with good pricing on LED screens and also listed on their crappy website:
www.tmcelectronicstradinglimited.yolasite.com

Also emailed TMC TRADING <[email protected]> and got reply from Ibrahim with bargains like:
Samsung UA46D6000 46" 3D LED TV including 3D glasses: R8609.00
Samsung UA46C7000 46" 3D LED TV including 3D glasses: R11,355.00

Is this for real? if it's to good to be true it's probably not :)

That's well below wholesale prices. Have a look online and you won't find a retailer in SA that could beat that for a Samsung UA46D6000.

That is why I posted here first... thought it might be a scam and couldn't find anything online about them. Hopefully others will find this forum and avoid disappointment...

on another note, I'm still looking for a nice LED TV and Samsung looks good, but can understand why they make it so difficult to compare specs between diffident models. What is the difference between 46c7000 and 46d6000 and is there a site that has detail comparisons ? (hope this is the correct thread for discussion, otherwise point me to it :) )

Going from a Sinotec 42" Full HD LCD to a 51D550, How much of a improvement would this be?

I'm interested in the wholesale price for a Samsung PS51D550. Any idea where I can find out?

Besides the obvious reasons setting off the scam sirens, the address is in the Foreshore, Cape Town and they list their number as an 021 821 number. No place in the Foreshore's tel. number starts with an 8. That area is 021 425 or 021 419 or similar.

Also a quick Google of their listed address, 23 Foregate Square, Foreshore lists a different business called "Charts International" with a different tel. number.

If someone is scammed this easily they deserve it. Wake up lol.
 
I wouldn't be worrying about the Plasma aspect.. just the improvement in image processing equipment in the TV will be huge.
