Mede8er models

my MKV video is usually around 15000kbps... else it looks crappy on my screen.

btw.
DTS-HD MA supports variable bit rates up to 24.5 Mbit/s on a Blu-ray Disc :)

I personally won't be downloading a movie with HD audio at this time - unless its a music concert, or some such, where the audio is more important than the visuals.

Once you have all your dedicated data in the internal HDD there's no reason to hook up an external to it and with the added value and functionality internal is an absolute must have. The balance of your data can be stored in other ext hdd as and when you need it.
The biggest gripe with the Compro is the fact that if you lose/break your remote you screwed.

Whats the added value and functionality of an internal drive?

Will have to check?
I'm running full 5.1 pro logic 2 from the Compro and the endless functions are really handy.

Value for money-you're basically getting a 1tb Hdd for free, and with your favorite data on tap.

Oh - you meant with the player...I thought you meant in general with regards to any player.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as HD audio :o
Anyway, I have a Playon!HD Essential which I got from Esquire for R599 ex vat. It works well for me. The only issue I have is that you need to point the remote directly at it.

wow, does that blond come with it :p
It actually looks pretty nice, wonders what’s the catch
I have a Xtreamer Pro, and it’s also worth a mention, it supports two 2 tb hard drivers, and 2 usb ports that can hold 1tb each, in other words it can hold 6 tb total..:D
i have not have hassles with it this far, the new jukebox did give me a headache, but it’s because of my own laziness for not renaming the folder names correctly
