Check the attenuation on your router - if the resistance is too high you will not get the speeds you are paying for.. If you are too far from the exchange , then you would be getting this as a result.. My works offices payed for a 4Mbps line and we could only get 2Mbps, because of this.. Als Telkom (as they are your line provider) to reset your DSLAM aswell, just incase and ask them to check if there is anything wrong, that they can see with your exchange.
BUT, phone 3 or more times with regards to the checking of the possible issue on the line, as I had a client that needed ADSL setup, and what was happening was that with the guest acount the routers Internet light (Netgear DGN 2000) would stay red, so I set up my D-link 2640U (awesome router and cheap

) and got the same thing...
So I phoned them and 2 guys @ Telkon said there was no problem.. I explained what was going on with the routers and they still kept to what they had said.. Phoned a 3rd time an the guy said there was a problem on the line (as if I didnt already know that

) so ya could be a few things to check out...
hope u get it sorted out.. Question, why dont you get the whole package from Mweb? Cheaper and better because then you avoid the ' Telkom- its Mwebs issue' and 'Mweb - its Telkoms issue' story.
