Well a few posts back Mwebguy stated the throttling goes on for 3-4 days
The length of time that an account will be throttled for differs for each user dependent on their usage patterns.

134GB at 1Mbps (throttled to 512kbps thereafter)
I phoned Mweb support this morning and they said I was on 94 GB, BS if you ask me. I only download during the night from 11 until 8 the next morning.
Afternoon, I can confirm that you have moved 95.1Gig already this month. You can verify this via My Account.
I've been happy with my mweb service up till now, but lately the performance has been terrible (especially youtube!!)
Thinking of jumping over to Afrihost.
Hi hawker
I checked your account and could not find any issues on it but have refreshed it for you.
Have you perhaps refreshed the ADSL port?
Hi Convex
I checked your account and you are currently being speed limited. This can be viewed in My Account by logging in with your MWEB primary email address.

Do it. I'm constantly getting full speed throughout the day.
For people getting throttled, the best option is to either upgrade to a business account or switch to another isp.
