Mweb, please give me an estimate when it will be fixed.
 
Don't want to start a new tread but I have a Q

I was told that when I start to download "excessively" i.e. more that 3Gb per 3 day period Mweb will begin to throttle my account. Is this possible or urban legend?

Tonight MWEB you are slower than a turtle, youtube video's can't even load. Heck they loaded faster on my 384K line!

Sometime during the night, my line just suddenly cuts off. No notice nothing. uncapped Mweb 384k. Anyone else have this issue?

@ MWEB

Whats going on? My connection has been impressivlely unstable all day starting early this morning at least. Ranging from minor connection loss to full disconnection.
And now EVERYTHING is slow to the point where absolutely no traffic is going on and this forum takes ages to do ANYTHING

@Mweb, do you guys have any future plans to add xbox and ps3 ports to the unshaped bucket? Internet addict is just not worth the R2000 extra for the 4MB option....even if it's just afterhours?

I play games over my shaped line and it works great
hell I average 300ms latency to lotro EU servers
Have you tested the connection with your XBOX or PS3
 
Just a quick note on the MWEB 4mb Uncapped. With two players on the line we average about 80-90mb an hour each, speed & quality of play was spot on. I was worried about using a shaped connection, but it went very well. So far its promising to say the least. I was using Afrihost R29/gig. but once you start using lots of gigs just for playing MW2, uncapped makes more sense. I calculate that I use about 14gig a month just on MW2!

As an ex-Afrihost customer how are you finding download speeds in the evening?
 
About the same as the Afrihost uncapped account. But I have not used more that 5 or 6 gig on the MWEB account yet. Only got it last week friday. Afrihost was fantastic, before the new T&C's that they have just introduced.
