Mweb never said its a big ADSL-only announcement! Besides, I consider it a cool value add-on. Sure, not everyone can utilize it, but its still a massive development for them. Just because its not accessible to all the "i want unlimited bandwith for less than McCheeseburger price and i want it unshaped and fiber and a free PC too while your at it" crowd doenst mean that some of their users wont benefit. If every company just developed stuff that ALL their clients could use then no progress would ever be made.
And Mweb hosting the stuff means viewing should be a lot better than what would have been the case had they been forced to source the content from another ISP. I think this is a positive step towards true IPTV. But unless LLU happens soon or Telkom lowers prices that still remains in the future. At least when external stuff starts to happen Mweb will be positioned well to quickly roll out other services/options.
