Mweb Guy, is the news server working OK?Since yesterday I haven't been able to connect on either the mweb address or the IP address and everything else is working fine.

Hi Everyone

We've recieved word that Seacom engineers have completed the cable repairs and we should be back up to full international capacity. Enjoy the rest of the evening and the public holiday tomorrow :)

EDIT:I should really hit refresh before posting, keep up the good work MWEB Guy :D

Hi guys is there anything wrong with news.mweb.co.za( 196.28.78.229) today
i cant connect to it at all . i can connect to news.mweb.co.za(196.28.182.50) but only get slower speeds 10-20kbs
any ideas thx

Hi ForSure,

There are no reported issues that I am aware of.

Is that the Cape Town news server that you are connecting to or the Johannesburg news server?

no sure on the location on the last i.p i was using but this news.mweb.co.za(196.28.182.50) is from ct if i run a tracert

any others i could try and thanks for your reply
