please. this cannot continue. We will not accept this. We as a business can't keep up with the crappy service we are getting. Stop blaming Telkom and fix your own network.

agree. I think problem is on MWEB network cause this is what I did.

1. Asked Telkom to reset my port
2. Reset my router for 30min
3. Dropped my line speed to make it more stable
4. Restart my pc
5. Use IS,Saix,MWEB(home and Business) DNS servers.
6. Change account to another stable adsl line

So see I did everything possible to prove my line is stable. Please check the MWEB network as this is not account related but MWEB network. I'm sick and tired of MWEB always blaming TElkom and also Telling me no there is no fault when I did my tests. Even our business account is unstable on browsing so Please hurry up and make my browsing normal again. Also Black ops servers has been terrible today

Yeah same 23:00 on the dot.
Considering I've had to get used to playing only after 6pm or so even though i have 4mb - this is getting a bit much.

Good Morning Guys

It is my understanding that at 11pm every night your latency spikes; I will liaise with our network Team and we will monitor this and provide you the relevant feedback. In the mean time please inbox me your MWEB email addresses and I will try and get you Wtfast accounts to assist with the latency you are experiencing. Also please provide me screenshots of your in game latency, as this would assist with our investigation.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

I am so fed up with mweb. I can't play Call of duty online. Getting ping of 300ms all they told me is go f yourself and get a leased line. ADSL is not garunteed. All in all you guys are just telling me "screw you we won't look into this not our problem if you getting lag we can't help you as we don't care" So many ppl complaining the last few days with the ping regarding games. WTfast account won't work for me as this has to do with World of warcraft not black ops/cod4.

1. I did a reset on my router
2. Changed the MTU to 1456 or something like that.
3. Rebooting my pc
4. Bypassing my firewall
5. Phone Telkom to reset my port

I will send you proof of latency being bad but my speeds is fine on speedtest.net and downloads also fast. I think of leaving MWEB cause their service is total CR@P. Please stop blaming Telkom as you guys are the reason Telkom don't have good service. Actually if MWEB and all other ISP stop blaming Telkom and properly check the network they will realize that Telkom is 90% of the time not the issue. What is happening to MWEB now is happening to every Uncapped ISP. Digichilli, screamer was good at start and now they don't even do business. I think everyone should cancel their uncapped for a month just to boycott MWEB.

so will you look into this and at least have a week or a month without any issues. All of my clan buddies complaining about MWEB that is extremely slow the past week.

It's to do with peering, and yes, it is Telkom's fault.
MWEB said that they were not going to pay local ISPs /networks providers for them to connect to their networks. I think everyone except SAIX have agreed to this.
This is great for them as there is now very little cost for the local traffic.
You're obviously playing COD4 on SAIX servers and for the traffic to go to SAIX it has to first leave the country and then come back in to the country.

I have EXCELLENT service with MWEB Uncapped. <40ms pings to the MWEB game servers / WebAfrica servers from Port Elizabeth.
If you want to complain, complain to Telkom and tell them to get in the 21st century.

On another note, over the past week or so my torrents were downloading at a maximum of 10kB/s. I thought this was very weird and was about to complain here about it but wasn't sure if they'd help out with torrents.
Just by accident last night while trying to change the uTorrent ports, I found that it had a 10kB/s download speed cap enabled... /facepalm
Disabled that and went back to 100-200kB/s :(

omg dudes Black ops is hosted by mweb and it lags. Igame cod4 servers lag etc etc no peering issue. FFS get your facts straight.

I'm playing right now and ppl having pings over 100-200.

we did a tracerouter and pings straight from the cisco routers and the same thing pings are very high on black ops servers. Think a hardware fault.
