Just getting a BIT annoyed. Tried to do the speed test for the MyBB router competition, and it timed out TWICE before it worked.

And the results were pretty low anyway:

Usually a sworn patriotic Mweb user, I must admit that this download limitation crap is pssssssing me off.
Now I'm swearing at them and not in favour of them.

I would have been willing to pay a little more to Mweb to get a bit better performance (such as OpenWeb Gold), but Mweb has no such service. Only the unshaped service which is way more than I am willing to pay.

Not saying I gave up but I am moving to greener grass.
 
All of a sudden Fileserve links became active last night around 10pm. Download speeds were +/- 40kbps. Woke up this morning to find speed at +/- 350kbps.

Telkom 4MB ADSL, MWEB Uncapped
 
Can anyone check what speeds they are getting from megaupload atm? Getting about half my line speed.
I'm on 1mbs uncapped.

EDIT: Download speed down to 35-40kbs

Really dependent on how long EA takes to come back with the info, once we have it the change is pretty quick to implement. Did you still have a problem with this last night though? We tested from the office and I played a bit myself last night and everything seemed fine.

Well shaping is a lot lighter over the weekends... I am also getting full speed from astraweb... Hopefully with this upgrade over the weekend, we will not return to 0kb on Monday morning

Still seems like they have throttled filesonic to a crawl. Anyone getting full speeds with filesonic?

Reset modem. Getting Full speed again.

The upgrade is happening this weekend? IIRC Will@MWEB said it would be done by the end of this coming week (hopefully sooner)...
 
Hi guys
Was wondering today what is the limit on mweb uncapped 384 accounts until its regarded as abuse of there network 80 ,200gb ?
i do on average 60gb a month getting random stuff
