Please try connecting to another STEAM server i.e. MWEB Cape town server?

I did try that too and I had the same error again. At some random try to reconnect to steam with mweb account it will connects but 1 out of 10 to 15 try's. I've deleted all steam logs to isolate the problem and include both ISP scenarios steam logs (maybe it will help) / Thanks:

I can't connect to steam for the last 2 nights, youtube is barely working and mweb want me to move my adsl from telkom to them, guess not.

Again BC2 isn't working tonight for me, so I'll take a bet

Evening Guys, thank you very much for providing us feedback regarding your experiences on our network. I have escalated the gaming related queries to our game master to assist with its resolution. We have also taken note of the numerous complaints regarding p2p and streaming, we hope that the capacity increase coming this weekend assists in the resolution of these queries.

Guess the last complaint will be mine lol... Fileserve and filesonic not working .... but on the other side i reloaded my MAC today and the updates ran very nicely and also all the re installs of software from the app store... one upside..... MWEB guy will the upgrades the weekend ensure that we as customers can download torrents and fileshare sites anytime of the day again?

Evening TmanSA, at the moment all I can confirm is that there would be a capacity increase. We will be able to establish how it will impact the differenct traffic next week, however we hope that your experience does improve.

Seems like MWEB has relaxed the rules regarding downloading from filesonic. At least I can download again.

Never had a problem with MWeb uncapped 4096k. From next month I am going to trial Openweb Gold uncapped - lets see if there is a difference. It runs on IS, and I am not an IS fan, but maybe this will change my mind.

Hello. I am also getting the issue with dead sites, but some download sites work - like rapidshare.
I'll hope on the weekend's upgrade for now.

100% Ditto. I want to be good, but MWeb are making it so hard.
