almost 2 weeks later and i am still complaining.

You cannot tell me that a torrent with 24600 seeds is only downloading at 8k on a 4mbit line.

It is pathetic!
 
I now have 9 torrents downloading with over 3000 seeds each and getting 16k in total over all of them. Is that normal?

High ping spikes again .... 60-90 instead of 35-40. Anything up coz I see it's not just me affected?
 
Hi, I am posting here on behalf of my friend.
He currently has a 512 line that was transfered from Telkom to Mweb. He applied to have his line upgraded to a 4meg and was told by Mweb that it would take 2 weeks. He applied for the line on the 25th of Feb. Today Mweb phoned him and told him that his exchange does not support 4meg, this is not true as I have a 4meg line on the same exchange (I know of a few people that have 4meg on that same exchange). Any help would be much appreciated.

as far as I know, there are only a certain number of ports on each exchange that supports 4mbps. Telkom should either upgrade the exchange to support more 4mbps ports or he should wait until a port opens up.

Getting near on no speed, 4 meg account. This is becoming too common an occurrence on Mweb. Speedtest at 9:10pm (0.7 bits per second down, not megabits, havent reached upload yet.) Browsing has been abysmal and waiting 20 mintes for youtube video's to buffer is unacceptable.

I'm on a 384kb line and YouTube videos have been extra-slow lately too (yes I know they are slow to begin with lol)
