MWEB Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

So like, i wonder when mweb will realize its not just 1 or 2 accounts having a problem, but most of their subscriber base.

Exactly dude. Look at what they are doing? Obviously there is a general issue on the network but they always just take it on an individual basis. With this amount of complaints and they still quote ONE or TWO people and tell them to reboot their PC and router. Thats the just of it. Thats why I am so angry.

They do not admit there is a problem on their network, they just post crap like that over and over. I know they are trying to help, but a retarded fishfrog will be able to logically induce that this is not just 1 or 2 users with user side problems but a bigger problem.

GUESS WHAT THEY DO. They do not admit there is a problem, rather they blame user error, telkom or w/e the flavor of the day is. So many complaints, and this is only from people that actually have an account on MYBB or even know about this thread. This is clearly, looking at it in a sample of the general population where we are the sample group pretty damn obvious that there is a big problem. You know, the worst thing is that they do not even admit it, its a slap in the face to any logical person here.

Mweb, admit there is a problem on your network thats causing all these issues. You cannot possibly think that everyone of us experience this cause of some issue unrelated to your network. We even start experiencing it at the same time.

What will happen now guys, is they will ignore this post or any other post asking these questions and just quote some individual problem again a few hours later, giving that individual person false hope that their issue will be resolved.

Mweb Guy and Will, please stop this and help us figure this out. Anyone with an IQ above 70 can see that this is a network issue. Admit it and lets work together from here on out.

MegasXLR, why are you defending mweb so much? Do you really believe these are all individual user errors or line errors that start for users in different parts of the country at the same times and when we log onto another ISP account its 100% fine?

Most of the new problems started when they installed the new shaping device or software in london, probably because managing somethin in the southern point of africa from europe is just plain foolishness and logistics is the main irritant in the system. It was a bold move doing everything on a international link but without local networking they dont exactly have much of a fallback.
And like the man said, having one or two people wondering why their lines are crawling more and more is one thing but not having any kind of break between upset and / or confused posts is another thing entirely. IMHO MWEB lost the war when it kept treating most of its customers like children asking for more porridge.....a blunder that is gonna be hard to come back from. Make the customer your enemy and he will treat you as such in future, some things are harder to forgive with more candy than others.

Sometimes I get the vibe that they genuinely want to help but being the mouthpiece for company policy doesnt exactly give them much room. From what I have heard from a few people that have in the past worked there and have friends that still do....MWEB is like the Communists refusing to admit the West has superior quality of life, they will NEVER admit there is a problem unless its massive enough that the public will know about it anyway.

You based that comment on what proof, please give us statistical data and links please, else check your thumbs, the blood must be flowing already.

i dont need proof. im the paying customer.

The irony is that nineteen more days of this for May and then end of June till the "new ISP" ends up happening. :(

I'm not going to be able to put up with this kak for that long.

Hi, my name is Jim and I'm addicted to quality bandwidth. ( That I pay for....)

i dont need proof. im the paying customer.

You claimed that the majority of their customers have issues. This would imply that over 30,000 subscribers must be having issues. There are only 10,000 posts in this thread, and it's been running for a long time. Therefore only a handful of the subscriber base have posted here so far, so it's up to you to back up your claim of "most of their subscriber base". I can understand that you have issues.

As a counterpoint, I rarely have issues. My torrents are running slow. However, this morning at 7am I loaded up a new torrent and it ran at 300kB/s, indicating to me that my speed is due to my current torrents being slow. HTTP runs between 250kB/s and 350kB/s, depending on the source (or it was last night before I went to bed).

When would be a good date to cancel my mweb account, I have actually had enough now and plan on cancelling and moving over to openweb's 4mb uncapped gold. However, I need to know which date to cancel on in order not to have any unnecessary charges.

You are assuming that yours is the typical experience and you forget that a lot of people dont even know about these threads or dont know enough to know whether their speed is good or not or just dont bother complaining.

Not at all. I notice that people have issues. However, it's impossible to say (as has been thrown around in the thread) that MWEB = bad for everyone and all subscribers. There is no proof one way or the other. I have an issue with generalizations, and some posters seems to think that their bad experiences are indicative of the network as a whole, and that all or most of the customer base are experiencing them.

That's why I posted mine as a counterpoint, to show that there are happy people too. People that are happy tend to not post, so you get only the people with complaints. This presents a skewed view of the network status.

woooah bro, stop jumping to assumptions here. Mweb dont even have a network, This has been quite evident over the past 2-3 weeks.

The same non-existent network you're posting from?

I'm outta here. It's clear that the only purpose for some is to bash MWEB. Not interested in a debate where you cannot be convinced.

Ahhh, yes. It's impossible to simply be a happy customer. I have to be a fanboy if I dare say anything good about MWEB. Since the majority is unhappy customers. Gotcha.

Just me or is Black Ops working normally now?

All fixed on my side too. Looked to be working better from around 11pm last night and has carried through.
