How does 114B/s on Astraweb (yep, B/s on a 4 meg line) sound to you...

Download speed: 159 B/s from a Giga

I'm not that far behind you. 00:10AM on a Sunday morning .....

To be fair, yesterday my web browsing and streaming vids are better, but that Giga speeds just aint cricket ...

MWEB - this is now the 4th time I'm asking, please assist with my NNTP, it is FKED!!!! This is a 50mb file! These are the speeds i have been getting recently - shaping or no shaping this is NOT acceptable! The graph is clearly a picture of something very, very wrong, and i want an explanation. Do not tell me to reboot my router or call telkom, everything is full throttle with any other of my ISPs/accounts. A reasonable explanation! Sort this out man - how long do you customers have to suffer like this? You clearly keep on taking on more clients at the expense of your current client base. While we're at it, what plans to do you have on acquiring more bandwidth for your now massive subscriber base? Or can your existing customers expect this deterioration of service to continue while you continue rake in the cash? Prove you are an ISP that gives a damn and help us out already, this nonsense has been going on for far too long.

This is the reason I was forced to move to another ISP.

Speed a disaster again today. I am unable to even open the MWEB home page, it times out. Other sites I am able to visit I am getting only 18Kb/s through my network speed monitor.

Yeah my last post was int he wrong thread :D
HAving probs with local and international speeds here. On my telkom account right now to check and see if I was alone...

Internet is pretty damn dodgy at the moment. International AND local.

Something is definitely wrong. Browsing is ridiculous - local and international. WoW times out and I'm even struggling to get email.

Eish.

Guys a bit off topic but how do you report someone to the admins of mybb as a troll so their account can get banned?

Depends what you define as troll not really easy to get the poster banned unless its very obvious but look at the bar below each post next to "blog this post" click on the icon that resembles a warning sign.

Certain MWEB members were experiencing problems receiving their emails earlier, this has now been resolved, please advise what exactly happens when you try to retrieve your emails.

Kind regards
MWEB Guy

Kinda Missing the point there Mweb guy. He is saying the speed is so bad that he can't even get e-mail. Not necessarily the e-mail you provide.

had to switch to WA account as well...like almost every weekend. Browsing veeeeery slow om MWeb

Need to often refresh pages like 5 times before they work. This is pissing me off.

Let me guess: Deal with it?

Hey? I'm not very computer savvy mate, no idea what that does/means- nor how to do it.

windows 7

windows network and sharing center.
change network adapters.
right click our current one and click properties.
then tcip v4.
manual set your i.p to your range of your router. ( if don't the range just ask here, billion routers are 192.168.1.254, so your first block you make 192.168.1.xx. 2nd block 255.255.255.0, 3rd block is router i.p 192.168.1.254
and bottom is dns settings which you make 8.8.8.8

should find your away around, mweb dns server sometimes just don't work very well for me.
