Hi Kyubi_Brat,

Please advise if you are still experiencing connectivity issues. Please make sure your connections DNS's is set to automatic.

Kind regards,

MWEB Guy

Hi MagicDude4Eva,

I have mentioned in my previous post that I will feedback you as soon as our service desk provides me with feedback. I will escalate it and have someone call you with feedback tomorrow as they are not available currently.

Kind regards,

MWEB Guy

Tks - a bit too late as the cancellation has gone through. One would think that your support systems have automatic escalations in place and it should never come to the point that tickets remain unresolved for now 11 days. I think it is pointless to have a conversation with an engineer as I have provided VERY detailed information and diagnostics in my support tickets. I would however be interested if you can email me a print-out of the support ticket, as I honestly believe that no focused effort was placed on trying to resolve the ticket.

BTW: Getting into Google Apps is impossible and downloading a 10MB file @ 15KB/sec is absolute nonsense - tomorrow this painful experience will be a thing of the past.

Just to illustrate what MWEB's version of Twitter looks like on my super-duper uncapped connection:

Gmail back, great.

Not able to connect to The Google (Gmail) or The Twitter :( Pages just timing out. I connect to both over https. Other international http sites are fine.

Edit: Gmail is back.

I'm invisible and ignored as this ruling

Interesting find - based on the procedural guide, MWEB should have removed the term "uncapped" within two weeks, which has not been done. Will drop ASA, ISPA and CPA a detailed email about this. I honestly feel that MWEB's practices are not just a violation of ASA, as their shaping/throttling does not leave a working product in place and no-one should have to pay for the notice period unless MWEB can provide essential services during that time which I doubt will be the case.

Well I had enough today, well this evening especially. Couldn't even connect to GMail to send my cancellation letter. Still can't for that fact. Will have to resort to fax I guess.

WHY is it so slow again. seems pointless to moan... youtube buffering, pages timing out... local seems fine. *sigh* i need to do work here and i'm getting 20kbs............................

Port Elizabeth user here, well today has been utterly PATHETIC.
Everything is slow and pages refuse to open at times.

Honestly each day has been going slower and slower for a week now

Shall we all send a generic complaints email to [email protected] ?

If someone can formulate a good structured complaints email it would be great and we can just send it to ISPA with your own name and complaint part in it so that someone at least can be made aware of our ignored plight. Could do the same for the CPA and ASASA ?
