You should really get the aerosol can repair. Works brilliant.
My cuz and brother had punctures and we used those cans to repair the puncture and fill the tyre temporarily just to get the bike to a bike shop. Worked a treat.
You do get the small cans now that can be mounted in your luggage for those emergencies.

Good idea, thanks. Think I wanted to do that at one point, just put it off for too long.

Much better to just get a proper repair kit so you don't need to visit the bike shop at all.

I want to get one of these.

That Dynaplug looks way easier ti use than the kits we usually get in SA (the so called snotties)

Looks lekker. Where to obtain? Would be useful for cars as well I imagine, currently I patch punctures with one of those R25 kits.

I'm guessing direct import sadly, but haven't looked too deeply.

Until my roadside assistance runs out I will make full use of it. :)

Looks like Amazon will be cheapest, but would need a forwarding service. Revzilla charges $55 flat for shipping to SA, so would only be worthwhile with a big order.

Dynaplug sell directly, including kits with mini-inflator pumps.
Going to investigate one of those...

I doubt a plug would've helped me. It turned out that my tube inside rubbed through on the inside of the tyre. Cheap Chinese bikes with this Nylon tyres, pffft.

After being on a ride with a group where one guy tried 4 times over 5km to repair his tube (used 3 patch kits - including mine) where the temps in the valley were 35C+ I decided to sell my F800GSA and get a R1200GSA for the tubelessness!!!!

People with tubes should be carrying spare tubes, and only do repairs at the final destination of the day

Just be careful when ordering from Revzilla.com. My package took 7 weeks to get to me, with our postal service... If you can, try getting it sent via courier service...

Can't you do some sort of ghetto tubeless conversion on the rims of the 800
